Hannah’s Bircher Muesli

If you're after slow release energy to keep you going through the day then this bowl has got your name written all over it! Whip this up the night before to save time in the morning.

Bircher Muesli vegan dairy free breakfast recipe

 1 cup oats (whole or rolled)
 1 cup plant based milk such as unsweetened almond, soy, rice or oat
 1 grated apple
 ½ tsp cinnamon
 Toppings such as banana, berries (or any fruit) and a sprinkling of chopped nuts such as almonds or walnuts

Grate the apple.


Place oats, apple, cinnamon and milk into a bowl and mix.


Leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.


When ready to eat, top with fruit and chopped nuts. Usually this recipe will last three mornings - or two if you have a big appetite!
